Episode 5.22 The Beginning in the End
Air Date: May 20, 2010

I’m both excited and sad. This week, the season 5 finale of Bones will air. I’m torn between being eager to see the episode, and wishing that the season wasn’t already over. I’m guessing that you feel the same way.

Anyway, to get you ready for this week’s big finale episode, here’s the latest promotional clip:

This is a very fun clip made behind the scenes of the upcoming 100th episode of Bones. In it, David’s father talks about being directed by David Boreanaz and how proud he is of him. We’ll get to see a very fleeting glimpse of him in the episode. Find out what he’ll be doing:

This is fun! People submitted ideas about what Hodgins should blow up next and the producers picked their favorites. I think we should definitely watch for these on upcoming new episodes of Bones!

The Bones producers went through all the submissions to the “What should Hodgins blow up in the lab” question. Thanks to everyone who participated!

Here are their three favorite answers (as well as three more honorable mentions):

FAVORITES
He should blow up the McKinley Psychiatric Hospital but only so Zack can escape again, not to destroy the entire thing and everyone in it.
Submitted by Amanda Gunther

Parker should have to do a science project, and Booth can’t help him, so it is Squints to the rescue. Hodgins helps Parker make an awesome volcano, and they blow it up.
Submitted by Claire Martin

When/if he and Angela ever get married, he should blow up the wedding cake.
Submitted by Sarah Pemberton

HONORABLE MENTIONS
He should blow up something you’d typically find in an everyday office like…a photocopier.
Submitted by Ash

If you seal up dry ice in a plastic container, the ice thaws to gas form and the container explodes. The plastic container, now hard and brittle from the freeze, breaks into many shards and explodes like a bomb.
Submitted by Libby Gee

My 3-year-old wants Hodgins to blow up a cartoon. My 9-year-old suggests a TV. I’m partial to an octopus. I’m picturing Cam and Bones walking in at just the right time and something sticking to someone.

Do you have any ideas that aren’t mentioned here? Leave a comment to let us know! :-)

Bones: Episode 5.15 “The Bones on the Blue Line” Promo Clips

Episode 5.15 The Bones on the Blue Line
Air Date: April 1, 2010

Here are the two new promo clips for Bones. It’s the first new episode to air since weeks ago and even though we have to wait until April 1, it sure looks like it will be worth waiting for! I love how Brennan calls the bad guy a “dirtbag” and Booth tells her she’s hot!

Brennan has a new book out, and everyone’s eager try out what she’s written on page 187!! ;-)

Bones: What Does it Take to be King of the Lab?
Feb 27th, 2010 by Lynn DeVries

This is an absolutely insanely wonderful clip showing why on Bones, it’s best to be King of the Lab!

Michaela Conlin talks about what makes a person the King of the Lab, then there are tons of great bits of Hodgins blowing things up and causing chaos in the lab. It’s fabulous!!!
